Congratulations The Actor's Practice Class of Spring 2025

I have witnessed this group of actors over the past 10 weeks grow their relational intelligence by creating an intimate space where there is enough relational connection to create the roots of trust.

As a result of these trusted roots, they grew in their capacity to risk, be with their own and each other’s vulnerability and support each other to become deeply rooted while expanding their potential beyond what they thought was possible.

They really flourished in the presence of each other’s togetherness, made all the more meaningful by their ability to acknowledge each other’s differences.

Ben and I witnessed them come in touch with their own creative essence, which they brought dynamically to the stories they integrated, embodied and told.

This was a group of intergenerational, multicultural artists who represented a sacred celebration of diverse ways of being and ways of seeing.

This group found their own centre by offering a space for each other to centre and from this place, the complexity of the human experience was honoured in all its paradox, confusion and beauty.

It was an honour to witness their humanity, tenderness, fierceness and generosity.
