Actors, you cannot cheat “embodiment”

You can understand it all you like and you can read all the books.

I’ve seen 21 year olds speak to me as if they are Eckhart Tolle in how they explain what it is to be human.

Are they embodied? Nope.

You cannot cheat “Embodiment”

This is why Artificial Intelligence will never win.

We have bodies, they feel, they sense and this is a practice, a daily crafted moment by moment, daily week by the week, month by month, year by year, decade by decade craft.

You deepen it like a fine Goddamn wine

All that happens is you just get richer and more complex, more nuanced and more subtle as you move deeper into the experience of what it is to be in relationship with your acting.
