Acting is not just having good instincts
Mar 06, 2023Actors! Be slow to judge and very quick to learn.
I try to balance in between the requirements of an actor to have good instincts for acting.
But also a very important part of acting is analysis.
Generalisation is the enemy.
Always be specific in everything you do.
This means every line has to be worked on, thought about, considered, reflected on, and communicated to the other actor.
It’s all about just being truthful and authentic.
